Scottish Climate Assembly

The Assembly holds a Q and A session with Ministers to discuss the Scottish Government’s response to the Assembly’s report.

A Scottish Citizen’s Assembly was convened to make recommendations to the Scottish Government on the climate emergency. Meetings were held virtually throughout 2021 and a report was produced and published.

The Assembly met for a final weekend 8 to consider the government’s response to their recommendations.   As part of that weekend, a Ministerial Q and A was held with Patrick Harvie MSP and Richard Lochhead MSP where representatives of the Climate Assembly posed a series of challenging and robust questions to the Ministers.
