Campaigns in the UK to change the laws around assisted dying took an important step forward last year. The BMA changed their position from one of opposition to one of neutrality on the matter. And there are assisted dying Bills going through both Holyrood and Westminster just now. And now Holyrood Parliament has set up a public consultation on the proposed changes.
